In 1872, Alexander von Humboldt built a luxurious residence for himself on a hill on the banks of the Tepla River. The huge classicist villa was renovated in 2006 while carefully preserving its historic charm and turned into a hotel - Humboldt Park Hotel & Spa. The service staff speaks Russian, German and English. The hotel has a luggage storage, souvenir sale. The reception is open 24 hours a day. Umbrellas are provided for customers to use.
