In 1748, in the center of Karlovy Vary, a luxurious, by the standards of that time, spa house with a portal, above which shone a gilded relief depicting Queen Maria Teresa, called “At the Beautiful Queen”, was built. Today it is a modern hotel on the Tepla embankment that has managed to maintain its unique style. The hotel has a lift. The service staff speaks Russian, German and English.
